Short version: we use browser storage to keep you signed in, keep payments and verification secure, and remember a couple of small preferences. No ad tracking, no data selling.
What we use
We use cookies and similar browser storage — local storage and session storage — for a small number of specific purposes:
- Essential / authentication: keeping you signed in, protecting your session, and letting protected pages know who you are. The app cannot work without these.
- Security and fraud prevention: detecting abuse, and supporting the security of payment and identity verification flows.
- Preferences: small things like whether you've already seen the intro animation, and your reduced-motion preference.
- Third-party functional: Stripe sets storage necessary to process payments and run Stripe Identity checks securely. Google sets storage when you choose Google sign-in.
What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site advertising trackers, or third-party ad networks, and we do not sell your personal data. See the Privacy Policy.
Your controls
Your browser lets you view, delete and block cookies and site data. If you block essential or authentication storage for this site, sign-in, payment and verification will not work.
Clearing site data will sign you out and reset local preferences such as the intro animation.
Changes
If we add a new category of cookies — for example analytics — we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
