Community Guidelines

Who's Down IRL™ is for adults who want real-life plans with real people — coffee, a walk, a workout, a market, a coworking session. It works because people are honest, show up, and treat each other well.

Who’s Down IRL™ is a platonic social discovery and meetup platform — not a dating or hookup app. Meet people. Make plans. Go IRL.

• Use your real first name and a current photo of you — face visible, recent, not a group shot.
• One person, one account. No shared, fake, joke or impersonation accounts.
• Be honest about who you are and why you're here.
• You must be 18 or older. No exceptions.

This is a friendship and community platform. Not allowed: romantic or sexual advances, sexual comments, flirting after someone has shown disinterest, sexual or suggestive photos, or using a hangout as a disguised date.

If two people connect and later choose something else, that's their business — but it can never be the pitch, the pressure, or the purpose here.

• Respect a no the first time.
• Ask before photos, and never post someone without their okay.
• No harassment, threats, hate speech, slurs, or bullying.
• No unlawful discrimination based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or similar.
• No pressure about drinking, spending money, rides, contact details or leaving the venue.

Every hangout happens somewhere public. No private homes, hotel rooms or private vehicles as meeting locations. Report anyone who asks. Details in the Safety Center.

• If you join, plan to attend.
• If plans change, post in the hangout chat as early as you can.
• Hosts: keep your listing accurate, and tell people promptly if you cancel.
• Repeated no-shows can limit your access to hangouts or hosting.

• Keep hangout chats on topic and welcoming to newcomers.
• No spam, promotions, MLM or recruiting pitches, or mass DM-style blasts.
• No sharing someone else's personal information — ever.
• No screenshots of private conversations posted to shame someone.

No selling, soliciting, fundraising, recruiting, political canvassing or undisclosed sales pitches at hangouts or in chat. Hosts may mention a real cost attendees will pay at the venue — that's transparency, not a pitch. See the Event Host Policy.

If someone makes you uncomfortable, block them — it's instant and private — and report them so we can look at the account. Reporting in good faith will never count against you. See Reporting, Blocking & Enforcement.

Depending on what happened, we may warn you, remove content, restrict features, cancel a hangout, suspend your account, or ban you permanently. Serious safety violations skip straight to removal. These guidelines are part of the Terms of Service and are read together with the Acceptable Use Policy.
